Christmas Quiz
UPDATE: I have added the answers at the bottom of the quiz.
When it comes to quizzes, I’m not exactly a whiz. I was never a good test-taker, and I definitely don’t help out very much on our weekly trivia team.
BUT my dad is the trivia king (seriously, we call him “the fountain of useless knowledge”), so I asked him to for some help with these questions.
So let’s test your Christmas knowledge by taking my his quiz!
- What does the term “Christmas” stand for?
- What American religious group banned Christmas in the 1600s?
- When was the first Christmas celebrated?
- Where was the first Christmas celebrated?
- True or False: In Poland, spider webs are used to decorate Christmas trees.
- What year was Christmas made a national holiday.
- Who is said to have decorated the first Christmas tree?
- About how long are Christmas trees grown until they are cut and sold?
- Multiple Choice: Christmas purchases account for how much of all retail sales in the U.S.? a) 1/4 b) 1/6 c) 2/3
- What color Christmas card should you NOT send in Japan?
Leave your answers in the comments! I will post an update tomorrow with all the answers, so check back to see how you did!
