Peace and Goodwill

Now there were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night. And behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid.

Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.”

And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying: “Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”

Christmas Cocktail Recipe // #Blogmas Day 23

Ya’ll, I’m tired. And my brain just doesn’t want to come up with ideas for today’s topic. Besides, it’s not like there’s this awesome website called Pinterest that has PLENTY of Christmas cocktail recipes or anything…

So will you forgive me if I take the super lazy route and just share this hilarious episode of My Drunk Kitchen? Oh, and if you have never heard of this amazing Youtube show, I better warn you that you might want to wait until you are home from work before watching because otherwise you spend the next two hours watching episode after episode. She is HILARIOUS but it can lead to a very unproductive use of time.

So now you can hop on over to Ashley’s or Tay’s blog and check out everyone else’s cocktail recipes then do your own reenactment of My Drunk Kitchen! Sounds pretty awesome, right?!

Favorite Holiday Movie // #Blogmas Day 22

Goodness, today’s Blogmas topic is a tough one! There are SO many good holiday movies.

But when it comes down to it, there are two that are pretty much neck-and-neck for the top spot.

The first is Elf, which is obviously very Christmasy. Will Ferrell does such a great job in this movie and there are so many great lines in it!

But as much as I love Elf, my absolute favorite holiday movie is When Harry Met Sally.

Now I know this isn’t a traditional “Christmas” movie, but so much of it centers around the holidays, and New Year’s in particular, that I think it counts.

Actually looking at all these memes makes me want to go watch it right now. Guess I know what I’ll be doing tonight!

What is your favorite holiday/Christmas movie?
